Appendix Carry, Yes or No??

Carrying a pistol is a personal decision that requires careful consideration of various factors. One of the popular ways to carry a pistol is the appendix carry, which is a method of carrying the firearm inside the waistband, in front of the hip bone. This method has gained popularity in recent years, but it comes with its advantages and disadvantages. In this article, we will discuss the pros and cons of carrying a pistol appendix inside the waistband.

Dry Fire Practice

Dry fire practice is a technique used by firearm enthusiasts to improve their shooting skills. It involves practicing shooting without any ammunition or live rounds in the gun. Dry fire practice is a safe and effective way to improve marksmanship, gun handling, and overall shooting proficiency.

Today’s Thoughts

A personal note from Bob — class updates, range thoughts, events, and what’s happening around CNY Pistol.

Hey everyone, as I sit outside writing this it looks like summer has actually arrived. Thank GOD. I have been trying to figure out how to get and keep people on CNYPISTOL.com. Then a lightning bolt came and hit me — or I finally decided to do what I have been hearing, reading, and what I have known. I need to have good and continuously new content. So here we go, and please let me know if there is something you want me to write about, discuss, or products to review.

Ok, today is June 27, 2019. This past weekend I had a really nice turn out for my NYS PISTOL PERMIT CLASS and I think all learned a lot and had fun. I was supposed to have another class on Sunday per special request and not a single person showed up. Not for nothing, but just a text message saying, “hey something came up and we can’t make it” would have been nice. Oh well, no harm no foul.

Tomorrow a bunch of my shooting family are headed out to Saratoga NY for the IDPA, Battle at Saratoga Match. We all shot it last year and it was a boat load of fun. Last year’s match had stages that were great fun and challenging, and honestly had the toughest dark stages I have shot. Not sure about you, but I LOVE the tough ones. I wish I could go this year but other commitments are keeping me home. I will let you know how they did and hopefully have some photos and maybe video from the match to share with you. I have a few BIG matches on the horizon this year. First one coming in two weeks. I will tell you about that one in the near future.
